Kentucky 50-Mile Relay ______________________________________

The 50-Mile Relay is five segments of approximately ten miles each. The course is paved roads, over flat-to- rolling terrain through primarily rural countryside. Runners start and finish at the park, located 18 miles east

of downtown Louisville off Interstate 265 [Snyder Freeway] and KY Highway 841 [Westport Road]. Nine (9)

aid stations are evenly spaced over the course.

The finish line offers free showers, massages, and hot food. All finishers receive a long sleeve race tee-shirt and plaques are awarded to first place teams in each category. This is not a closed course—please run safely.

The Hampton Inn at 4100 Hampton Lake Way [near intersection of Chamberlain Lane and Westport Road] has a limited number of rooms discounted at $60 per night for those who indicate their participation with the CRR 50-Mile event. The rates change after Nov 15. The inn is about two miles from the park and the start/finish line.

Packet pickup is will be in the Hampton Inn’s Kentucky Derby Room on Friday, Dec. 6 from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
